In addition, the criteria they took into consideration, the life skills, the people who influenced them the most, the influence of belonging to the 4-H club and educational activities. They considered in order to select the university career or future occupation. The population consisted of the 4-H high school partners of the municipalities of Villalba and Juana Díaz. The most important findings indicate that having belonged to Club 4-H was an important value when selecting their occupation. The most important thing to consider for these 4-H partners was the liking of what they are going to study. It was found that 4-H members are agree, that being a member of Club 4-H can help them choose a career in Science. The person who most influenced these 4-H partners to choose the occupation were the parents and the area of study preferred by these partners was Medicine. The educational activities of greatest preference were educational excursions and 4-H competitions. Life skills were decision-making, leadership, teamwork, problem solving, and cooperation.
