With the purpose to know the response in the development of coffee (Coffea arabica) berries variety Limaní, using applications of plant growth regulators and fertilizers were realized two experiments were conducted; both were done in the Agricultural Research Station at Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. The first experiment was done with an application of Pro- Gibb® (Gibberellic acid, GA), MILLERPLEX®, K- FOL® and NUTRILEAF 60® at 10, 100 and 1000 mg L-1 concentrations and water, throughout the month of June. In the second experiment, four applications were done (one per crop), starting in January month, with the products aforementioned, this time CK, CK+GA y CK+NUTRILEAF 60® using the same concentrations. The length, top diameter, stem diameter of the coffee tree and the grain size, were among the parameters established in the experiments, which were measured before and after each experiment. Before determining the grain size, the coffee fruit was processed and then were passed to a size classifier machine, model IMSA. In the first experiment no significant changes were found between treatments, in dry grain size, except MILLERPLEX® at 1000 mg L-1 concentration. Meanwhile, in the second investigation significant differences were found in the fresh and dry grain.
