    Percepción de los directores de escuelas secundarias, respecto a las funciones profesionales del maestro de educación agrícola, en la región educativa de Bayamón, Puerto Rico

    This study looked to determine the perception of the secondary schools directors of the Educative Region of Bayamón, in regards to the professional functions of the agricultural teacher. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The data collection started with the shipment of sixty questionnaires by postal mail to a selected sample of the population. From the sixty directors, only fifty-one agree participate and two disagree. The results demonstrate that secondary school directors from Bayamón Region have general knowledge of the Agricultural Education Program and the tasks agricultural teachers must exert from the seven cardinal points of the program. Simultaneously, results demonstrated that scholastics directors of Bayamón Region are unaware specifically of the National Organization FFA, and the Supervised Agricultural Experience Program which are integral part of the instructional components of the program.
