This work presents the design of a Bifurcated Light Optical Coronagraph (BLOC) for interferometry applications and an Ultrafast Raman spectrometer. The telescope uses a diffractive optical element to detect exoplanets through advanced spectroscopy. The Coronagraph was designed using ZEMAX software and has two optical paths that establish a half-wave path difference for phase cancellation at a unique spectral band. A reliability study was performed to evaluate optical system quality. A high-resolution Raman spectrometer was also designed and calibrated for ultrafast Raman spectroscopy applications. A CCD camera was used to record radiation intensity and convert it into a spectrum. The spectrometer was calibrated using Octocyclic-Sulfur (α-S8).
