A.; Department of Business Administration; González, MichaelThis research evaluated the 7P 's model presented by Langford (2009 ) as a tool to measure the practices used by management to achieve the desired results. Use of a questionnaire as a research tool was made and it was distributed to 200 employees of a company dedicated to health care. The information collected was analyzed through confirmatory factor analysis, where the 102 variables studied and the 31 low-order factors which group them were analyzed. These variables are different management practices used to achieve the desired results by the companies. The research findings suggested a model of four higher order factors: Purpose, Participation, People and Peace, different from the seven proposed by Langford... Moreover, the lower order factors are aligned differently and there is no correlation between gender , age and years of study and the perception towards management practices. Some of the limitations present in the study were the absence of: diversity of participation of industries, analysis of two exploratory and confirmatory groups, company data analysis (employee retention, absenteeism, productivity, financial performance, team member engagement) and segregation of managerial involvement from employee participation. The recommendations for future research are: diversity in the characteristics of the sample, factor analysis in two exploratory and confirmatory groups, and analysis of companies in areas such as employee retention, absenteeism , productivity, financial performance and team member engagement.
