Publication Seguimiento a los egresados del colegio de ciencias agrícolas del programa de preparación de maestros de educación agrícola durante los años del 2000-2005 certificados y desempeñándose en un puesto docente en el programa de educación agrícola del departamento de educación de Puerto Rico(2008) Ramírez-Ramírez, Noemí; Padilla-Vélez, David; College of Agricultural Sciences; Curbelo, Aury M.; Villamil Freytes, José A.; Department of Agricultural Education; Dika, SandraThe purpose of this descriptive study was to Follow – up Graduates from the Agricultural Education Teachers Preparation Program of the Agricultural Education Department of the College of Agricultural Sciences of the Mayagüez Campus of the University of Puerto Rico, (RUM), that completed the requirements between the years 2000 to 2005, they were certified as, and are working as Agricultural teachers in the Program of the Agricultural Education in the Department of Education of Puerto Rico. The researcher found out the graduate students are satisfy with their works as teachers of Agricultural Education, However they feel uncertain with some concepts or duties that they should know. Participants showed been satisfied with the quality of the Education received by Faculty of Agricultural Sciences. They agree that RUM gave them the necessary competences in Techniques, Professional and General Education. However, the participants expressed their uncertainty with the following specific competences: Humanistic Science, Theory and Power Force, Special Education and Curriculum Development.
