Numerous static and dynamic prediction methods have been used by transportation agencies in the United States and Puerto Rico. This research presents a summary of the compiled information from the Puerto Rico Roads and Transportation Authority regarding load tests on deep foundations, among them are static load tests, Osterberg, Statnamic, and dynamic load tests are covered. The information compiled corresponds to 51 projects, 85 static load tests, 231 dynamic tests, 5 Osterberg, and 5 Statnamic on various municipalities in Puerto Rico. This research also presents predictions on the ultimate capacity of deep foundations obtained by static and dynamic methods. These predictions are compared with the measurements obtained from field load tests. A comparative analysis is presented, which includes statistical data on the predictions obtained from the static and dynamic methods. It was found that the predictions obtained from the dynamic methods provided the best results. These predictions were between 186% and 42% of the measured values, with an average of 114%. The analyzed information for the drilled shafts was limited, but it indicates that predictions with the static methods were between 182% and 46% of the measured values from the load tests, with an average of 114%. This level of precision is different to that found for driven piles using static methods, which was between 332% and 31%, with an average value of 181%.
