The Martin-Quinn Scores is a method developed by Andrew D. Martin and Kevin M. Quinn that predicts the ideology of the United States Supreme Court. In general, this method is a liberal/conservative scale of one dimension. Steven J. Brams proves the deficiency that this method has of predicting 5-4 coalitions in the Supreme Court. The main purpose of this research is to create a multidimensional model to predict 5-4 coalitions in the Supreme Court in a more efficient way than the MQ Score.
