A valid and reliable questionnaire was designed to measure the objectives. 71 undergraduate students and eight graduates of Agricultural Sciences participated. Most of the undergraduate and graduate participants were females in their fourth year of study and who have taken up to ten face-to-face and virtual courses. A discrepancy was found between what students receive and what they prefer. Both groups indicated that the teaching strategies most used by teachers in both modalities are the conference (face-to-face conference and virtual synchronous conference). While the majority of undergraduate students indicated that they prefer face-to-face courses and graduates prefer hybrids. Both groups prefer field trips to face-to-face courses and synchronous conferences to virtual ones. They recommended that they prefer face-to-face and more practical courses and laboratories, and interactive and field activities.
