Distribution systems often cover vast areas, which complicates their modeling in codebased software. For these reasons, they are simplified, but care is taken to ensure this does not compromise the behavior and results that could be obtained from the original system. The main objective of this work is to evaluate the hosting capacity of the Adjuntas distribution system and implement aVolt/Var control in the inverters of the photovoltaic systems distributed throughout the system. This approach aims to improve bus voltages by bringing them closer to their base voltage of 1 pu and to mitigate over voltages and line overloads.
