    Collection of information on academic-sports facilities from the student’s perspective is necessary to get acquainted with their areas of highest value (Blázquez Resino, Chamizo González, Cano Montero & Gutiérrez Broncano, 2013). The purpose of this study was to learn about the satisfaction level of students with the academic-sport facilities at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez Campus (RUM). Moreover, the study sought information on the conditions of said facilities through the student perspective. Only undergraduate and graduate students enrolled (479) in the Department of Kinesiology courses participated in the study. The instrument used was a questionnaire. In general, the majority of the participants expressed being satisfied with the academic-sports facilities. The areas of greatest satisfaction were: the lighting system, the size of the areas and the seating capacity of the facilities. The areas of greatest dissatisfaction were parking space and bathroom hygiene. According to the results, the level of student satisfaction is greater than their level of dissatisfaction with the facilities. However, opinions on the conditions of some of the facilities indicated negative aspects.
