The deployment of grid infrastructures is a time consuming and arduous task, therefore, the goal of this work was to establish an easy, “out of the box”, grid por- tal environment that allows administrators to go through installation/configuration procedures as fast possible. This project comprehended the development and integration of a set of administrative tools into a grid portal environment. It was designed to automate and help grid administrators in the deployment and configuration of services on the grid. The work conducted here shows to be highly expandable, opening opportunities for new emerging grid configuration tools through grid portals and contributes as the starting point for future developers.
