This research examines the interactions between two main actors, including the collaboration and competition between the service providers, and how the growth and expansion of the manufacturing pharmaceutical companies influences service providers. These pharmaceutical manufacturers are not the only industry responsible for the creation of a working entrepreneurial ecosystem, but rather a part of it. The findings show that the growth and development of pharmaceutical manufacturing companies influence the service companies in a positive manner. This is due to the creation of service companies thanks to the demand of qualified professionals for the pharmaceutical industry. The engineering, validation, and automation service companies (EVAS), as a service providers, are also a fundamental part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the networking that occurs since they provide the human resources and services needed for a thriving ecosystem. Additionally, these service companies participate in coopetition as a strategy to maintain its business relationship with the pharmaceutical manufacturers. Which means that they form collaborations with their competition, though there are certain networking needs that affect the relationship between the actors.
