Impacto del área programática juventud y clubes 4-H en la selección de carreras académicas de los socios 4-H seniors

Abstract

El propósito del estudio fue identificar el Impacto del Área Programática de Juventud y Clubes 4-H en la selección de carreras académicas de los socios seniors 4-H. Para los datos se utilizó un cuestionario con tres secciones, preguntas socio-demográficas, influencia del club 4-H y los factores que influyeron en los socios 4-H en la selección de las carreras. La población del estudio consistió de 36 socios 4-H. Entre los hallazgos del estudio se destaca que pertenecer a un club 4-H fue importante para los participantes. La estrategia educativa con mayor influencia fue los proyectos 4-H. El factor con más influencia en su decisión de seleccionar una carrera, fue estudiar lo que los apasiona. La destreza de vida que más influenció fue establecer metas. La carrera académica más seleccionada fue medicina. Los agentes agrícolas, educadoras de CFC, líderes voluntarios y los medios sociales fueron de suma importancia al tomar su decisión.

The purpose of the study was to identify the Impact of the 4-H Youth and Clubs Program Area on the selection of academic careers of 4-H senior members. Data collection employed a questionnaire with three sections, socio-demographic questions, influence of the 4-H club and the factors that influenced the 4-H members in the selection of academic careers. The study population consisted of 36 4-H members. Among the study's findings, it stands out that belonging to a 4-H club was important for the participants. The educational strategy with the greatest influence on the youth was the 4-H projects. The most influential factor in their decision to select a career was studying what they are passionate about. The most influential life skill was setting goals. The academic career 4-H senior members selected the most was medicine. Farm agents, CFC educator, volunteer leaders and social media were instrumental in making their decision.
