Abstract
This document presents a statistical approach to conducting large experiments based on statistical analysis to determine the most significant influence of multiple factors involving inverter-based islanded AC microgrids. Since there is no formal method in microgrid applications that integrates multiple elements further control strategies while several data are statistically analyzed, the Design of Experiments theory was applied. The analysis considered more factors rather than evaluating each one separately. An microgrid testbed was used to perform the experiment. The approach to analyze interest variables regarding power-sharing and power quality was through inverters, passive filters, hierarchical control strategies, and PWM techniques. This microgrid was previously validated in hardware-in-the-loop simulation. In addition, a control-program and a human-machine-interface were designed to conduct all the configurations. The experimental results and the statistical analysis identified the factors and interactions between factors that mainly affect the operating conditions of the MG in terms of quality and power-sharing.

Este documento presenta un enfoque estadístico para realizar amplios experimentos basados en análisis estadístico para determinar la influencia más significativa de múltiples factores que involucran microrredes de AC aisladas basadas en inversores. Dado que no existe un método formal en aplicaciones de microrredes que integre múltiples elementos más que estrategias de control mientras se analizan estadísticamente gran cantidad de datos, se aplicó la teoría del Diseño de Experimentos. El análisis estadístico consideró la unión de más factores en lugar de evaluar cada uno por separado. Se utilizó un banco de pruebas de microrredes para realizar el experimento. El enfoque para analizar las variables de interés con respecto a la calidad de energía y compartimiento de potencia fue a través de inversores, filtros pasivos, estrategias de control jerárquico y técnicas de PWM. Esta microrred fue previamente validada en hardware en la simulación de bucle. Además, se diseñó un programa de control y una interfaz humano-máquina para realizar todas las configuraciones. Los resultados experimentales y el análisis estadístico identificaron los factores e interacciones entre factores que afectan principalmente las condiciones de operación de la MG en términos de calidad y compartimiento de potencia.
