Abstract
In this work we discuss the problem of a product of distributions. We present the result of impossibility of Schwartz and various definitions of a product of distributions. The construction of algebra of Colombeau and the relationship between the product in this algebra and the model products are provided. A clarification of the distributional product of functions related to locally integrable functions, based on the known in the literature theorems, is given. Finally, the general formulas relating the products of distributions called Principal Values, Dirac’s deltas and their derivatives are obtained by Fourier transform method.
