Abstract
Esta tesis examina cuatro aspectos surrealistas de la novela El sueño del ángel de la escritora nicaragüense Gloria Elena Espinoza de Tercero. Usamos como marco teórico el libro El surrealismo en la ficción hispanoamericana de Gerald J. Langowski y nos enfocamos en las siguientes técnicas: el monólogo y sus variantes, el fluir de conciencia desorganizado (monólogo interior), el element onírico (los sueños) y las retrospecciones. Analizamos la presencia de estos elementos en el texto y cómo definen El sueño del ángel como novela surrealista.
This thesis examines four surrealists’ aspects in the novel El sueño del ángel by the Nicaraguan writer Gloria Elena Espinoza de Tercero. We used as a theoretical frame the book El surrealismo en la ficción hispanoamericana written by Gerald J. Langowski, and we focused on these techniques: the monologue and its variations, the flow of conscience (interior monologue), the oneiric element, and the retrospections. We analyzed the presence of these elements in the text and how they define El sueño del ángel as a surrealist novel.
