dc.description.abstract Grid technologies are changing the perspective of what we thought possible in the computing world by enabling both the aggregation of resources to solve large scale problems and the transparent access to those resources. This project report explains the development of two grid portlet interfaces, one provides a visualization interface for a radar using Google maps technology and the other a file formatting and con- version tool for the raw data of the radar. Information of weather stations also is included as part of the visualization interface. Both grid portlets were develop using the Gridsphere framework. en_US
dc.description.abstract La tecnología grid esta cambiando las perspectivas de lo que creíamos posible en el mundo computarizado permitiendo tanto la adicíon de mas recursos para resolver problemas computacionales a gran escala, como la transparencia de los mismos para el usuario. Este reporte de proyecto explica el desarrollo de 2 interfaces gridportlet, una provee la interface de visualización para un radar utilizando tecnología de Google maps y el otro una herramienta para convertir o formatear los archivos crudos g incluida como parte de la interface de visualización. enerados por el radar.
