dc.description.abstractSeveral experiments were designed with the objective to determining the effect of growth biorregulators and fertilizers, on growth and development enhancement of plantain fruits (Musa acuminata x balbisiana var. Maricongo). In the first experiment, soil applications of the following treatments were made during the plant flowering stage: 1)Gibberellin (GA3), 2) Benzyladenina (BA), 3) Millerplex Æ, 4) K-Fol Æ and 5) 20-20-20 soluble fertilizer with minors elements. Three concentrations of each compound were used: 100, 1000 and 5000 ppm. The experiment design was a randomized, complete design. The second experiment was similar to the first one, but the 5,000 ppm concentration was not included and compounds combinations were added with the objective of observing possible synergetic effect. Bunch weight, number of hand and fruits of each bunch and the circumference of three fruits from the first and fourth hand of each bunch were among the parameters evaluated. The application of CK, GA3 and GA3 + soluble fertilizer a 1000 ppm stimulated an increase in bunch weight (14.76, 21.34 and 21.24 kilograms) compared with the control (7.96 y 18.77 kilograms). Millerplex Æ at 5000 ppm and 1000 ppm, and CK + 20- 20-20 stimulated fruits development, increasing the number of fruits per bunch to (58.17, 58.43) and (58.00) compared with the control (38.00 y 54.54).en_US
dc.description.abstractVarios experimentos se diseñaron con el objetivo de determinar el efecto que tienen biorreguladores de crecimiento y fertilizantes en el crecimiento y desarrollo de frutas en el cultivo de plátano (Musa acuminata x balbisiana var. Maricongo). En el primer experimento se realizaron aplicaciones al suelo de los siguientes tratamientos en la etapa de florecida de las plantas: 1) Giberelina (GA3), 2) Benzyladenina (BA), 3) Millerplex, 4) K-Fol y 5) fertilizante soluble 20-20-20 con elementos menores. De cada compuesto se utilizaron tres concentraciones de 100, 1,000 y 5,000 ppm. Se utilizó un diseño experimental completos aleatorizados. El segundo experimento se hizo similar al primero, pero, no se aplicó 5,000 ppm y se realizaron mezclas de los compuestos con el objetivo de observar posibles efectos sinergéticos de los mismos. Entre los parámetros evaluados se encuentran el peso, número de gajos y frutos de cada racimos, largo y circunferencia de tres frutas de la primera y cuarta mano de los racimos. Las aplicación de CK, GA3 y GA3 + fertilizante soluble a 1000 ppm estimularon y aumentaron el peso de los racimos (14.76, 21.34 y 21.24 kg) respectivamente comparado con el control (7.96 y 18.77 kg). Millerplex a 5000 ppm y 1000 ppm, Ck + 20-20-20 a 1000 ppm estimularon el desarrollo de frutos, aumentando el número por racimo a (58.17 y 58.43) y (58.00) frutos respectivamente, comparado con el control (38.00 y 54.54).en_US
