dc.description.abstractThis study sought to determine the level of emotional intelligence of teachers in the program of agricultural education for the region of Arecibo. The analysis of the data obtained indicated that women pay more attention to their feelings than men. With regard to the clarity of feelings, both genders presented average levels of emotional intelligence. With regard to the component repair, women are located with greater capacity to repair their emotions than men. Regarding the academic preparation, is found no difference in the level of emotional intelligence in any of its components. For the component attention by years of teacher experience was determined that all the groups studied are perceived as able to express feelings properly. However, the group between17 to 21 is located on the edge of the scale. Most of the teachers are able to understand and repair their emotions.en_US
dc.description.abstractEste estudio buscó determinar el nivel de inteligencia emocional de los docentes del Programa de Educación Agrícola de la Región de Arecibo. El análisis de los datos obtenidos demostró que las mujeres prestan más atención a sus sentimientos que los hombres. En cuanto a la claridad de sentimientos, ambos géneros presentaron niveles medios de inteligencia emocional. Con respecto al componente reparación, las mujeres se ubican con mayor capacidad para reparar sus emociones que los hombres. En lo referente a la preparación académica, no se encontraron diferencia en el nivel de inteligencia emocional en ninguno de sus componentes. Para el componente atención por años de experiencia de los maestros, se determinó que todos los grupos estudiados se perciben como capaces de expresar los sentimientos de forma adecuada. Sin embargo, el grupo entre 17 hasta 21 años se ubica en el límite de dicha escala. La mayoría de los maestros son capaces de comprender bien y reparar sus emociones.en_US
