dc.description.abstractThe main objectives of this work are to describe the theoretical use of the regularization method to solve integral equations of the first kind and to develop a solution method for integral equations of the first kind in two and three dimensions. To solve such equations, the kernels are represented by two-dimensional matrices and singular value decomposition is used to get the solutions. The regularization parameter is computed by using the L-curve method and the Discrepancy Principle.en_US
dc.description.abstractLos objetivos principales de este trabajo son describir el uso teórico del método de regularización para resolver ecuaciones integrales de primera especie y desarrollar un método de solución para las ecuaciones integrales de primera especie en dos y tres dimensiones. Para resolver este tipo de ecuaciones los núcleos se representan por matrices bidimensionales y se usa descomposición en valores singulares para obtener las soluciones. El parámetro de regularización se calcula usando los métodos de la L-curva y el Principio de Discrepancia.en_US
