dc.description.abstractFuel cells were built with poly diallydimethylammonium chloride or PDADMAC (by its initials in English) as proton exchange membrane and were compared with earlier studies of fuel cells constructed by other methods and / or materials. Also copper, aluminum and nickel were used as electrodes in the electrode membrane ensamble in search of the best performance operational cell. The results of the current were used to justify the use of PDADMAC membranes in 40% volume-volume ratio in different combinations of metals Cu-Al, Ni-Al as electrodes. For the study of conduction performance of membrane electrode ensambles (MEA), copper and aluminum were as cathode and anode for their active behavior as functional electrodes in the experimental cell, walling individually membrane types PDADMAC, PDADMAC + Buffer, PDADMAC + deionized water and PDADMAC + tap water.en_US
dc.description.abstractSe construyeron celdas de combustible con poli cloruro alil dimetilamonio o PDADMAC (por sus siglas en íngles) como membrana de intercambio protónico y se compararon con estudios anteriores realizados con celdas de combustible construidas por otros métodos y/o materiales. También se utilizaron electrodos de cobre, aluminio y níquel para el ensamble electrodo membrana, en la búsqueda del mejor desempeño operacional de la misma. Se elaboraron membranas con PDADMAC buscando cadenas poliméricas más largas teniendo en cuenta variaciones de temperatura, concentración y . Los resultados en corriente sirvieron para justificar el uso de las membranas de PDADMAC en proporción 40 % volumen-volumen en las diferentes combinaciones de metales como electrodos Cu-Al, Ni-Al. Para el estudio del comportamiento conductor de los ensambles electrodo membrana (EEM), se escogió al cobre como cátodo y al aluminio como ánodo por su activa conducta como electrodos funcionales en la celda experimental, emparedando individualmente cuatro tipos de membrana distintos PDADMAC, PDADMAC + Buffer, PDADMAC + agua desionizada y PDADMAC + agua de la pluma.en_US
