dc.description.abstractThis thesis describes the tool ImageCutter, which does part of the megaproject TerraScope. The effected design uses a system middleware for, across the Internet, to connect a set of computers creating a virtual computer of great coverage, capable to handle information related to hyperspectral images. The provided information, as well as the resources of calculation, they can be located physically in diverse sites. These resources include components both of hardware and of software (ej. Matlab, Java and final user of applications). The system ImageCutter allows the processing image of distributed form and realizes the division of images of agreement to the specifications of the user. Tried the image, this ImageCutter in capacity of: to recover the information, to gather the new byline and to offer new forms of interpretation to the client. The architecture of the component ImageCutter and the algorithms used for the design of the tool will be discussed in the theoretical and methodological foundation of the thesis.en_US
dc.description.abstractEsta tesis describe la herramienta ImageCutter, que hace parte del megaproyecto TerraScope. El diseño efectuado es un sistema middleware que utiliza el Internet, para conectar un conjunto de computadoras creando una computadora virtual de gran cobertura, capaz manejar información relacionada con imágenes hiperespectrales. La información provista, así como los recursos de cómputo, pueden estar localizados físicamente en diversos sitios. Estos recursos incluyen componentes tanto de hardware como de software (ej. Matlab, Java y aplicaciones de usuario final). El sistema ImageCutter permite el procesamiento de imágenes de forma distribuida y realiza la división de imágenes de acuerdo a las especificaciones del usuario. Procesada la imagen, ImageCutter esta en capacidad de: recuperar la información, recolectar la nueva data y ofrecer al cliente nuevas formas de interpretación. La arquitectura del componente ImageCutter y los algoritmos usados para el diseño de la herramienta se discutirán en la fundamentación teórica y metodológica de la tesis.en_US
