Manejo de malezas, aplicación de gallinaza, y sus efectos en lombrices de tierra, propiedades físicas, químicas de suelo y rendimiento de banana ‘Grand Nain’ (Musa acuminata)

Abstract

The objective was to determine the effects of chicken manure amendment and control of weeds with glyphosate on the soil and yield of Gran Nain (Musa acuminata) banana. The treatments were: CH (fertilization with 10-20-5-3 + glyphosate), CM (fertilization with 10-20-5-3 + mechanical management of weed plants), GH (application of 37.7 ton chicken manure / ha + fertilization with 0-0-60-5 + glyphosate) and GM (37.7 ton chicken manure/ha + mechanical handling). The following soil chemical properties were greater in treatments with chicken manure than in treatments without chicken manure: electrical conductivity, K, Bray P, NO₃-N, C total, Zn, Cu and B. However, Al decreased significantly in treatments with chicken manure. Erosion in herbicide treatments was greater than in those with mechanical control of weed plants, where no sediments nor runoff were obtained. Increase in earthworm population was found over time, but no treatment effect was detected. The treatments with chicken manure obtained greater yield of banana.

El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar los efectos al suelo y rendimiento de guineo Gran Nain (Musa acuminata) de la enmienda de gallinaza y el control de maleza con glifosato. Los tratamientos fueron: CH (fertilización con 10-20-5-3 + glifosato), CM (fertilización con 10-20-5-3 + manejo mecánico de malezas), GH (aplicación de 37.7 ton gallinaza/ha + fertilización con 0-0-60-5 + glifosato), GM (37.7 ton gallinaza/ha + manejo mecánico). Las siguientes propiedades químicas del suelo en tratamientos con gallinaza fueron mayores que en los tratamientos sin gallinaza: conductividad eléctrica, K, Bray P, NO₃-N, C total, Zn, Cu y B. Mientras que el Al disminuyó significativamente en tratamientos con gallinaza. La erosión en los tratamientos con herbicidas (CH y GH) fue mayor que aquellos con control mecánico de malezas (CM y GM). La población de lombrices aumentó a través del tiempo, pero no se detectó efecto de tratamiento. Mientras que, los tratamientos con gallinaza obtuvieron mayores rendimientos de guineo.
