Abstract
In this interview, Juriel speaks with his high school Spanish teacher, Brenda Torres. They discuss the challenges Puerto Rican schools faced during the 2020 earthquakes and the COVID-19 pandemic. From both the educator’s and the student’s perspectives, they reflect on the difficulties posed by remote learning in the context of these events.
En esta entrevista entre estudiante y maestra, Juriel conversa con su maestra de español de nivel secundario, Brenda Torres. Hablan sobre los desafíos que enfrentaron las escuelas de Puerto Rico durante los terremotos de 2020 y la pandemia del COVID-19. Desde las perspectivas de educador y estudiante, discuten los retos que presentó la educación a distancia en el contexto de estos dos eventos.
