Abstract
The interview starts with questions about his childhood and how he was raised. He tells how he was raised in a middle class family here in Mayaguez, he explains his family business which is a meat shop. Then we get to the questions about Maria which was the why of the interview. He told how he managed to protect and provide of his new born baby, how he had to walked for one hour to see his daughter, the shortages and overall his experience in Maria.

La entrevista comienza con preguntas sobre su infancia y cómo fue criado. Cuenta cómo se crió en una familia de clase media aquí en Mayagüez, y explica su negocio familiar, el cual es una carnicería. Luego pasamos a las preguntas sobre el huracán María, que era el tema central de la entrevista. Contó cómo logró proteger y brindar sustento a su bebé recién nacido y cómo tuvo que caminar una hora para ver a su hija. Además, habló sobre la escasez y su experiencia general con María.
