The purpose of this research is to describe the contributions of the National FFA and Club 4-H associations to the student’s attraction and retention towards Agricultural Sciences as a career. The population of this study was students in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences that were part of the National FFA and Club 4-H from the years 2006 to 2012. Findings indicate that 53% of the FFA students and 86% of the Club 4-H students understand that the associations contribute to the retention of the students (100%) that pursuit a career or study in the Agricultural Sciences area. All of the students that were members of the FFA and 72% that were member of the Club 4-H association believe and understand that these associations help to attract students towards the Agricultural Science Faculty. Therefore, it is recommended to use these findings to develop techniques that motivate students to become members of the associations.
