dc.description.abstract	My aunt, Blanca Cruz Miranda, lives in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, one of the cities of the metropolitan area in the island. This area is known for its high population and large amount of housing projects. Blanca is the mother of 3 young adults, which she cared for while being a teacher. During March 15, 2022, the magistrate of Puerto Rico had a protest march in the capital city, San Juan, related to their working conditions. This has been a problem for almost a decade, but this was the first time enough of them joined in to get attention from various media outlets.	en

Esta zona es conocida por su alta población y por la gran cantidad de proyectos de vivienda. Blanca es madre de 3 adultos jóvenes, a los que crió siendo maestra. El 15 de marzo de 2022, el magisterio de Puerto Rico realizó una marcha de protesta en la ciudad capital, San Juan, relacionada a sus condiciones laborales. Esto ha sido un problema durante casi una década, pero esta fue la primera vez que una cantidad suficiente de ellos se unieron para captar la atención de varios medios de comunicación.	es
