Abstract
Natural disasters in large scale such as the wildfires in Los Angeles, and hurricanes results affects the global economy and livelihood greatly in addition to massive losses to human and cattle lives. Despite the presence of efficient disaster management systems such disasters are occurring frequently. With the advent of quantum computing numerous research works focus on the development of quantum digital twin (QDT) for improving the accuracy as well as the efficiency of the existing disaster management systems. However, most of the existing works on QDT suffer from limitations such as focus on particular disaster, and expensive. Therefore, through this work we intend to study the idea of developing a multi-hazard QDT that is cost-efficient, effective, and adaptable to meet the growing requirements. A four-layer based QDT system is proposed and studied in this paper. Preliminary evaluation results are included in this work to highlight the need of a multi-hazard QDT systems.
