dc.description.abstract A new species of parasitic Copepoda was recovered from the gills of the queen angelfish, Holocanthus ciliaris (L.), taken from various regions in the vicinity of Miami. Florida. This new species, Anuretes fedderni, is morphologically described. Notes concerning the status of Pseudanuretes Yamagutl, 1936 are included.
