Oral history interview with Blanca, April 14, 2023

Abstract

The narrator is called Blanca. This 58-year-old woman has been through difficult times, and yet she is always willing to help people. Through her employment as a food attendant with the Head Start Program, she had the opportunity to meet many people whom she had the pleasure of helping by providing delicious food and much more. This interview spans from the lady's childhood to her time working at Head Start, as her upbringing influenced the quality of person she became. There should be more employees with the initiative that Blanca has to observe what happens to the people she works with and be able to notify the organization to help those people.

La narradora se llama Blanca. Esta mujer de 58 años ha pasado por momentos difíciles y, sin embargo, siempre está dispuesta a ayudar a las personas. A través de su empleo como encargada de alimentos en el Programa Head Start, tuvo la oportunidad de conocer a muchas personas a quienes tuvo el placer de ayudar brindándole comida deliciosa y mucho más. Esta entrevista abarca desde la niñez de la señora hasta su periodo trabajando en Head Start, ya que su crianza influyó en la calidad de persona en la que se convirtió. Deberían haber mas empleados con la iniciativa que tiene Blanca, para observar lo que sucede con las personas que trabaja y ser capaz de notificarlo a la organización, para ayudarles a esas personas.
